Hi, I'm Max
We are raising our fourteen-month-old daughter, Mathilda, bilingual. There is one small problem: I can't speak German.
I have tried for years. Evening classes I stopped going to. Apps that gave me a streak and then a guilty notification when I lost it. Podcasts I listened to once. Nothing ever stuck, because every one of them wanted a new slot in a day that was already full.
Then I noticed something. There was one thing we never skipped, no matter how tired we were: the bedtime story. Same sofa, same handful of picture books, every single night. A habit I had spent years trying to build was already sitting there, fully formed.
So I built Tildi for myself first. Scan the books you are already reading, and they become bitesize language lessons and games. You can also unlock parenting phrase packs such as "bath time" or practice conversations with chat based scenarios which builds your confidence in speaking a second a language to your child.
I built Tildi around family moments and storybooks not textbooks or ordering drinks at a bar. So you can put into practice what you learn tonight.
If you are the parent in the house who is quietly falling behind on the family language, Tildi was made for you. Give it a week of bedtimes and see how it feels.
