Helping your child understand the reasoning behind decisions is a great way to build their critical thinking skills. In Spanish, we can add a supporting reason using 'sobre todo porque' or 'especialmente porque' to show why a choice is particularly sensible at that moment.
What you'll learn
- Learn to add secondary supporting reasons to everyday decisions.
- Master the use of causal conjunctions to provide context.
- Practice complex sentence structures suitable for CEFR B2 level.

Supporting Causal Clauses
To add a supporting reason that makes a decision particularly logical, Spanish uses conjunctions like 'sobre todo porque' or 'ya que'. Unlike some languages where the verb moves to the end, Spanish keeps the standard Subject-Verb-Object order in these clauses.
