Spanish phrases for numbers eleven to one hundred
Once, doce, trece.
Eleven, twelve, thirteen.
These are irregular numbers from 11 to 15.
¿Cuántos años tienes?
How old are you?
In Spanish, we ask 'how many years do you have?'
Tengo treinta años.
I am thirty years old.
Use the verb 'tener' (to have) for age.
Veinte escalones hasta arriba.
Twenty steps to the top.
'Veinte' means 20.
Hay cincuenta páginas.
There are fifty pages.
'Hay' means 'there are'.
Cuenta hasta cien.
Count to one hundred.
Use 'cien' for exactly 100.
¿Cuántas uvas?
How many grapes?
Uva is feminine, so we use 'cuántas'.
Eso cuesta diez euros.
That costs ten euros.
'Diez' is the number 10.
