Promises We Make in Spanish

This guide focuses on using the Spanish future tense (Futuro Simple) to make formal promises and predictions. Unlike the 'ir + a + infinitive' construction used for immediate plans, the synthetic future is often used for solemn commitments and long-term outcomes, making it perfect for shared family goals.

What you'll learn

  • Form the synthetic future tense (Futuro Simple) for regular verbs.
  • Express formal promises to children regarding new responsibilities.
  • Predict positive outcomes to encourage confidence.
