Spanish phrases for making things right after an argument

  • En cuanto vea a Ella, le pediré disculpas.

    Uses the subjunctive 'vea' because the action hasn't happened yet.

In Spanish, when 'en cuanto' (as soon as) refers to a future or anticipated action, the verb in the subordinate clause must be in the Subjunctive. If the action is habitual or happened in the past, the Indicative is used.
