Spanish phrases for mark the calendar
Tu cumpleaños es el primero de mayo.
Your birthday is on the first of May.
We use 'primero' only for the 1st of the month.
Tu fiesta es el tres de mayo.
Your party is on the third of May.
For dates after the 1st, Spanish uses normal (cardinal) numbers like 'tres' instead of 'tercero'.
Tu partido es el dos de junio.
Your match is on the second of June.
June is 'junio' and it is not capitalized.
Tu concierto es el cinco de junio.
Your concert is on the fifth of June.
Use 'el' before the number for specific dates.
Tu proyecto se entrega el diez de junio.
Your project is due on the tenth of June.
'Se entrega' means 'is delivered' or 'is due'.
Tu fiesta de pijamas es el doce de julio.
Your sleepover is on the twelfth of July.
'Fiesta de pijamas' is the common way to say sleepover.
Nuestro viaje es el veintiuno de julio.
Our trip is on the twenty-first of July.
'Nuestro' means 'our'.
Hoy es el cuatro de agosto.
Today is the fourth of August.
'Hoy' means today.

Dates and Numbers
In English, we use ordinal numbers (1st, 2nd, 3rd) for dates. In Spanish, we ONLY use the ordinal 'primero' for the 1st. For all other days, use the regular cardinal number (2, 3, 4, etc.).
