Spanish phrases for find your things

  • Tu móvil está sobre el escritorio.

    Your phone is on the desk.

    'Sobre' means 'on top of'.

  • Tus zapatillas están debajo de la cama.

    Your trainers are under the bed.

    Use 'están' because 'zapatillas' is plural.

  • Tu libreta está en tu mochila.

    Your notebook is in your bag.

    'En' can mean both 'in' and 'on' depending on context.

  • Tu guitarra está al lado del armario.

    Your guitar is next to the cupboard.

    'Del' is a combination of 'de' + 'el'.

  • Tu mochila está detrás de la puerta.

    Your backpack is behind the door.

    'Detrás de' means 'behind'.

  • Tus auriculares están sobre la silla.

    Your headphones are on the chair.

    'Auriculares' is plural, so we use 'están'.
