Spanish phrases for share your opinions

  • Tu póster es colorido.

    Your poster is colourful.

    'Póster' is masculine; the adjective 'colorido' matches its gender.

  • El título es azul.

    The title is blue.

    Colors are adjectives that typically follow the noun.

  • Tu dibujo es hermoso.

    Your picture is beautiful.

    'Dibujo' is used for a drawing or picture made by a child.

  • Las letras son pequeñas.

    The letters are small.

    'Letras' is plural and feminine, so the adjective becomes 'pequeñas'.

    This photo is funny.

    'Divertida' can mean either funny or fun.

Adjective Placement

In English, we say 'the blue title.' In Spanish, adjectives almost always come AFTER the noun: 'el título azul'. They also must agree in gender (male/female) and number (singular/plural) with the noun.
