Spanish phrases for baby colours everywhere
Tu babero es amarillo.
Your bib is yellow.
'Amarillo' matches the masculine 'babero'.
Tu taza es azul.
Your cup is blue.
'Azul' ends in a consonant and doesn't change for gender.
Tu pelota es roja.
Your ball is red.
'Roja' is feminine to match 'pelota'.
Tu manta es verde.
Your blanket is green.
'Verde' stays the same for masculine and feminine.
Tu camiseta es blanca.
Your vest is white.
'Camiseta' is used here for vest/undershirt; 'blanca' is feminine.
Tus calcetines son rosas.
Your socks are pink.
We use 'son' (are) because socks are plural.
Tu gorro es naranja.
Your hat is orange.
'Gorro' refers to a soft hat or beanie.
Tu carrito es negro.
Your pram is black.

Most colors change their ending to -o for masculine items and -a for feminine items.
Adjective Placement & Agreement
In Spanish, colors (adjectives) come after the noun. They must also match the noun in gender (masculine/feminine) and number (singular/plural).
