Gentle Hands, Patient Care in Spanish

Establishing calm and respectful routines involves speaking to your baby about the care they receive. In Spanish, we can use the 'se impersonal' construction to express that certain actions (like rushing or laughing) aren't happening, focusing on the activity itself to create a peaceful environment.

What you'll learn

  • Use the impersonal 'se' to describe ongoing actions in a gentle, neutral way.
  • Express boundaries regarding baby care using 'no se' constructions.
  • Learn vocabulary related to gentle handling and feeding routines.
  • Master the use of temporal conjunctions like 'mientras' and 'hasta que' in a caregiving context.
