Spanish phrases for things that go

    Look, a train!

    'Mira' comes from the verb 'mirar' (to look).

  • Vamos en coche.

    We go by car.

    In Spanish, we use 'en' to mean 'by' for modes of transport.

  • Monta en tu bici.

    Ride your bike.

    'Bici' is the common short form of 'bicicleta'.

  • El autobús es rojo.

    The bus is red.

    Colors like 'rojo' come after the noun in Spanish.
