Spanish speakers usually say 'Me llamo' (I call myself) rather than 'Mi nombre es'.

What is your name?
This is the informal way to ask, perfect for meeting other parents.

How are you?
Used for temporary states like feelings or health.

'Estoy' comes from the verb 'estar'.

This is my son.
