Curious Without Prying helps you show warm interest in your child's close friendships or a possible first crush without expecting a full account. Practise using unstressed denn and eigentlich to connect questions to the conversation or gently shift focus, while letting your child choose what to share. With an older, articulate child, respectful curiosity also means accepting a different opinion, a short answer, or no answer at all.
