Inside the Story Character's Head in German
Inside the Story Character's Head explores how German stories let a character's feelings and thoughts colour the narration without explicitly saying ‘she thought’. During shared reading, practise spotting erlebte Rede through emotional wording, questions and character-centred words such as jetzt and morgen. The C2 work is for you; with your 6–8-year-old, keep the conversation concrete: whose feelings can we hear, and which words give them away?
