Inside a Character's View in German

Inside a Character's View explores how a novel, a game's story or your child's own fiction can let a character's feelings colour the narrative voice. At C2 level, you will discuss German erlebte Rede: passages that retain third-person reference and a past-tense narrative framework while borrowing a character's judgements, questions and sense of here and now. With an older child who enjoys defending an interpretation, focus on evidence and alternative readings rather than hunting for one correct label.
