Room to Decide explores how unstressed German modal particles ja and doch shape negotiations about an older child's independence. You will practise presenting shared knowledge, recalling agreements and correcting assumptions without treating your child's agreement as automatic. Small changes in delivery matter, but supportive wording also leaves genuine room to disagree, ask for help or revise a plan.
