Weather For Adventures in Spanish

Spanish phrases for weather for adventures
Hace sol para tu paseo en bici.
It is sunny for your bike ride.
'Hace sol' literally means 'it makes sun'.
Hace viento en el parque.
It is windy at the park.
'Viento' means wind.
Hace frío afuera hoy.
It is cold outside today.
'Frío' is the noun for cold.
Hace calor en el campo de fútbol.
It is hot on the football field.
'Calor' means heat.
Está nublado esta mañana.
It is cloudy this morning.
We use 'está' because being cloudy is a temporary state.
Está lluvioso hoy.
It is rainy today.
'Lluvioso' comes from 'lluvia' (rain).
Está nevado afuera.
It is snowy outside.
'Nevado' means covered in snow.
Hace calor esta tarde.
It is warm this afternoon.
In Spanish, 'hace calor' covers both warm and hot weather.
